Random Thought II: Another WALL-E Analogy

Yeah.
-
Towards the end of Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Anakin Skywalker is badly injured. Palpatine comes to his rescue and takes him to be repaired, out of the selfish need to use Anakin as a pawn. After being rebuilt, the persona of Anakin Skywalker is forgotten; there is only Darth Vader. It takes three more movies and seeing his son in pain for him to return back to normal.

Towards the end of WALL-E, WALL-E is badly injured. EVE comes to his rescue and takes him to be repaired, out of the selfless need to fulfill WALL-E's wish of holding her hand. After being rebuilt, WALL-E has forgotten who he-- and EVE-- is. It takes a few minutes and a "spark-kiss" from EVE to return back to normal.

Also: Sheev Palpatine. EVE. Sheev. EVE. LOL.
