History
Created as a Fa-Matoran, Jovan became a Toa early on in the Matoran Universe's history. Around 80,115 years ago, he encountered the disgraced Toa Lesovikk and taught him valuable lessons and fighting styles.
Around 80,000 years ago, Jovan became the leader of the Toa Valmai. When the Matoran Civil War left the Great Spirit Mata Nui's health in peril, the Toa Valmai ventured to Voya Nui to retrieve the Kanohi Ignika and used it to revitalize Mata Nui. After fulfilling his destiny, Jovan transformed into a Turaga and stayed behind on Voya Nui, watching over the Matoran inhabitants.
When the Great Cataclysm occurred, Voya Nui broke off from the Southern Continent and shot up onto the surface of Aqua Magna. Turaga Jovan was killed during this cataclysmic event, though he would later be revived by the Red Star.
