As with the Bionicle post before, here is a guide to how I got the names for my Star Wars fanfic characters.
I won't be including characters whose names are just normal Earth words (with Darth names being an exception, and unless it's a really major character).

Dem Hazon / Kal Nkai, Arcona bounty hunter - "Dem Hazon" is literally just "Hem Dazon" (the Arconan cantina alien in ANH) with the first letter of each name swapped. "Kal Nkai" was a concept name for Hem Dazon himself.

Darth Ravage / Zavar Rarnok, Zabrak Sith Lord - "Ravage" is obvious; funnily enough, I had come up with it before it was used in The Old Republic. Not sure where Zavar Rarnok is from; maybe a Zabrak name generator.
Treb "Smarty" Retarc, Siniteen bounty hunter - "Retarc" is "crater" spelled backwards (as "Crater Head" was the nickname for the original Siniteen, Pons Limbic). Not sure where "Treb" is from (might be "Bert" spelled backwards, but I don't know any Bert).
